We have been training and sharing the benefits of Boxing and Mixed Martial Arts with Winona for over ten years. Our state of the art training center provides the perfect backdrop for developing the skill and determination needed to succeed in Mixed Martial Arts, or Boxing/Kickboxing, and we are well equipped to help if you just strive to improve your general fitness and meet your weight loss goals. Team Howell Fitness is staffed by professional, experienced instructors who have dedicated their lives to sharing the power of martial arts with the community. All of our instructors have no less than ten years of training and fight experience. We offer many classes to accommodate your busy schedule. FAQS

Do I need to be in shape before I join the gym?

Absolutely not!  Our programs are designed to do just that, get you into awesome shape. 


Do I need any previous
experience to join Team Howell MMA?

Absolutely not. We love teaching beginners and cater to the needs of each student's ability and experience. 

Is this type of training only for people who want to learn how to fight?

No! We primarily teach effective self defense, fitness/weight loss, and MMA techniques. Most of our students enjoy the challenge of learning something new  while also getting fitness and self defense benefits out of our classes.

Do I need to choose which type of classes I want to attend in advance?

No. We have an "unlimited class" membership model. This means you can attend any classes you choose and participate in one or all types of MMA that we teach.

What should I wear to class?

You can wear gym shorts and your Team Howell shirt all week.

Do I need to bring any special equipment with me?
